Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
Location: Shakopee, MN

Join our dedicated production team at Voyager Snacks, a company on a mission to hand-craft great tasting snacks to fuel all of life’s adventures. As an energetic, diligent, and passionate Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating gourmet popcorn and handcrafted trail mixes that satisfy our customers’ cravings.

As a full-time Production Assistant, you will report to and collaborate with the Production Manager to fulfill customer orders. Your responsibilities will include labeling, packaging, packing orders, cleaning/maintaining our production facility, and performing other warehouse tasks.

Key Duties/Responsibilities*:

• Actively contribute to achieving team goals
• Manually label, fill, and seal snack bags using machinery
• Assist in producing gourmet popcorn in copper kettles and preparing trail mix blends
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas, conduct regular equipment checks
• Receive product deliveries, operate pallet jacks, and prepare pallets for shipment
• Move inventory and materials across facilities
• Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations

*Comprehensive training for all tasks will be provided

Position Requirements*:

• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in problem-solving, time management, and teamwork, with the ability to work independently when necessary
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Tolerance for noise and strong fragrances
• Physical ability to stand, sit, move, squat, and walk for extended periods
• Capacity to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis
• Previous experience driving a forklift is a bonus, but not required

*Food production experience is not required, but preference may be given to candidates with related experience. Comprehensive training will be provided.
